Incident 27. At 22:31 DSRT Tavistock was called by the Police to provide Swift Water Rescue assistance to an incident in Horrabridge. A male had been reported to be missing in the fast-flowing river and the Fire Service was in attendance and a Police helicopter had done an air search using heat seeking equipment. As our members arrived on scene a discussion between the agencies present resulted in a decision to stand assets down, as there was doubt that any person had actually been in the water.
