2023 Incident 1. DSRT Tavistock was called by the Police at 12:32 to assist the Ambulance service with a collapsed female walker in woodland near Gulworthy. Two members were deployed from the RV point at Tamar Trails Car Park to establish the exact location of the casualty. On arrival at the site they were informed that the lady had been confirmed deceased. The rest of our Team members then took equipment and a wheeled stretcher to recover her down to the waiting Ambulance. She was handed back to the custody of the Ambulance crew at 13:40. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time.
