Incident 5. At 14.30 North Dartmoor Search & Rescue Team requested our logistical support to assist them in moving personnel to two separate concurrent incidents. The teenage casualties were reported to be hypothermic. DSRT Tavistock was put on standby in case further personnel were required to assist in evacuation of the subjects. One Land Rover was deployed and used to transport a hill party to Dinger Tor and then recover them from OP15.
One casualty was transported from the moor by Land Rover and the other airlifted by a National Police Air Service helicopter, which had found a window in the very low cloud.
