Incident 18. The Team was called at 16:53 to assist in the evacuation of a fallen horse rider with suspected spinal injury. Due to the possible serious nature of the incident members went directly to our Rescue Centre to deploy vehicles while the duty Incident Manager obtained further details regarding the exact location. It was eventually determined that the incident was further south than originally stated, near Harford Moor Gate and so the response was handed to DSRT Plymouth. They were stood down as adequate South West Ambulance Service personnel had arrived on scene.
