Incident 23. DSRT Tavistock was called at 12:56 to assist a female walker who was very cold and lost on the Moor. A hill party was deployed from Peat Cot and at 14:30 located the subject and her dog Benji near to Broad Rock. After warming with an extra jacket and hot coffee she was happy to be escorted back to our RVP. We stood down the National Police Air Service helicopter which arrived above and reached the road at Peat Cot at 15:30. Benji and his owner were then transported to their own transport at Norsworthy Bridge, Burrator.
