Incident 2. At 08:59 our team was called by the Police to resume a search of the Burrator area for the subject of our previous search who was believed to still be on the moor in spite of freezing overnight conditions. A multi-agency search began involving our members along with Police, including a dog team and drone team, HM Coastguard and the Urban Search and Rescue team from the Fire Service. Devon & Cornwall 4×4 Response assisted in transportation of personnel. The subject was located in woodland by a DSRT Tavistock team at 12:30, and his condition was assessed. He was then escorted to a team Land Rover and transported to the RVP at Norsworthy Bridge. A successful outcome to a lengthy search incident. Many thanks to Rapid Relief Team for attending once more to provide hot drinks and food to all involved in the search.
