Incident 7. The team was called at 1732 hours to assist a lady walker who slipped and injured her lower leg coming down from Brat Tor. The first team was deployed in a Land Rover, continuing on foot from the bridge. Other team members followed, ready to take a stretcher and equipment to the site.
The casualty and her family had managed to walk partway back and was met by our first team not far from the ford at 1816 hours. After an initial examination by the team’s Cas-Carers, she was brought back to the RV in the Land Rover and handed over to the Ambulance HART at 1828 hours. We wish her a speedy recovery.
