Incident 10. The team was called at 13.35 to support a SWAST ambulance crew. One member of a group of young people on an organised training walk was suffering from hypothermia and was unable to walk off. The group was located north of King Tor. Team members deployed from Four Winds Car Park and attended with paramedics. The casualty was treated, loaded quickly onto a stretcher and evacuated to a waiting ambulance. Once warmed up, the casualty was discharged to the care of their parents. The weather was challenging today but the group were well prepared and reacted quickly and appropriately. We wish them all well with their ongoing training.
