Incident 11. At 20.09 our Team was called by the Police to assist an injured 65 year old walker on the outskirts of the village. The gentleman had fallen into a ditch and sustained an open fracture of a lower leg bone. The first of our members was on scene within 20 minutes and assessed the situation. It was decided that the Ambulance crew and personnel from the Princetown Fire Station who were present would evacuate the casualty using their 4×4 vehicle. Our members were stood down at 20:46. We wish him a speedy recovery.
