Incident 27. Our Team was called by the Police at 18:36 to assist a young girl who was taking part in a Dof E training expedition. Once confirmed that the location was near Plym Head we passed the task to DSRT Plymouth, as it was in their operational area. They subsequently requested our support as there were in fact two casualties requiring evacuation. As DSRT Tavistock hill parties reached Plym Ford we were stood down, as a helicopter had been able to land and had evacuated the casualties to hospital. The rest of their group was escorted safely from the moor. Thanks to Devon & Cornwall 4×4 Response for once again providing transport support. A successful joint operation.
