Incident 43. The team was called by the Police at 16:05 hours at the onset of the longest night of the year, which proved to be another wet one with winds gusting gale force. 14 team members and both Land Rovers deployed to recover the body of a deceased person discovered next to woodland near Burrator reservoir, which was stretchered to the road and transferred into the care of the undertakers. Members also helped remove many bin-bags of rubbish found at the scene. Our condolences to friends and family of the deceased.
