Incident 13. We were called by East Cornwall SRT at 10:28 to assist them in a search that was continuing from yesterday for a person missing in the Fowey area. Six of our members including a search dog handler deployed to assist, with others due to become available later in the day. They formed part of a multi-agency response, with members from East & West Cornwall SRTs, DSRT(Plymouth), Police, Coastguard cliff-rescue team and helicopter.
We were notified at 13:20 that the missing person had been located alive and was being assessed by a paramedic team member, so the remaining team was stood down.
