Incident 17. At 16:47 our team deployed a second time this afternoon to evacuate an injured walker from the Pipe Track near Cadover Bridge, covering for DSRT(Plymouth) who were already committed supporting the Hope 24 event. The ambulance crew on scene had already splinted the injured ankle, so we were able to transfer the casualty to the stretcher immediately on arrival and transport her safely along the narrow, uneven path and over the gate to the ambulance waiting in the car park.
It was a good example of how teams support each other to ensure rescue provision across the region.
