Incident 27. Our team was called at 13:15 to assist the Ambulance service with an incident near Crazywell Pool. A female walker had fallen and sustained a suspected fracture of her right ankle. Team members were deployed in a Team 4×4 vehicle part of the way up the track from Norsworthy Bridge and then on foot to the casualty site. The casualty was treated by Ambulance personnel and then airlifted to hospital by a Devon Air Ambulance helicopter. Our members were stood down and transported the Paramedics back to their Ambulance at Norsworthy Bridge. We wish the casualty a speedy and uneventful recovery.
