Incident 9. The team was called at 14:26 to assist the South Western Ambulance Service after a woman had fallen into a stream in the Tuckermarsh area. An Ambulance crew was already on scene treating the casualty for a suspected broken ankle. As team members arrived they were deployed to assist at the scene.
At around 15:10 the casualty was packaged in a team stretcher and carefully carried from the stream location up to the waiting ambulance, arriving at approximately 16:00, where she was handed over for onward care.
Dartmoor Search & Rescue Team Plymouth had also been responding to the incident but were stood down while en route as additional personnel were not required.
All team members and vehicles were clear and back at the rescue centre by 16:40.
