DSRT – Tavistock would like to say a huge THANK YOU once more to each and every one of you who helped us to reach our £65,000 target for our Rescue Centre Rebuild Appeal.  Because of your wonderful generosity, our new garage is complete and housing our new control vehicle, Terry, and our Land Rovers, 53 and 63.

DSRT – Tavistock is part of Mountain Rescue England and Wales, and a registered charity (No. 1201527).  We receive no Government funding and so we have to raise our own funds to keep the team ready and operational which costs about £20,000 per year.

It is a continual effort to carry out our own fundraising and we are totally reliant on the goodwill of the public to keep the team operational by their kind and generous donations.

There are many ways you can donate to the team. You can join the Supporters Team or Donate directly! We have a few projects coming up to keep our team operational including the redevelopment of our old garage space and essential work to keep our 4×4 response vehicles on (and off!) the road.
