Henry Guly who served with the Team for 36 years and is one of our distinguished Life members, has written a book called Moor Rescue. It tells the story of Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Tavistock from its origins in 1968 to the present day. It’s a must for anyone who loves Dartmoor or is interested in the team’s work. The book is privately published with all proceeds going to the team. The cost is £15.

One of our members has written a book of walks in around the Meavy valley – and has very kindly donated all proceeds to the team. You might have read his very successful Walkham book, on a limited print run, that also raised funds for the Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Tavistock.
