The Police called DSRT Tavistock at 13:39 to request us to assist a walker lost on the Moor who had become separated from her husband, who had the map and compass.. Use of SARLOC gave us the location of the subject and after discussion with colleagues in DSRT Okehampton it was agreed that we would send in a hill party from Postbridge and they would send in a team via Fernworthy Forest. Our members located the lady and walked her north to meet transport at Fernworthy Forest, while her husband was escorted in his car to Fernworthy to be reunited with her.
