Two days of searching for the team alongside other DRG teams and police and Fire search teams

Callout 4 – 11th February

We were called to assist Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team – Plymouth in a search for a missing male who was deemed to be at high risk. Extensive searches were carried out in dense woodland and and also beneath the viaducts. Active search deployments were suspended at around midnight.

Callout 5 – 12th February

We resumed the search, joined again by members of DSRT’s Plymouth and Ashburton and later by East Cornwall SRT. Multiple searches were carried out over a more extensive area, but the male was not found.

We have since been told the missing male has been located, safe and well.
