Callout 9 DSRT Tavistock was called in the early evening by our colleagues in DSRT Plymouth to assist them in a Police search based in Leigham, for a 61 year old male deemed to be at high risk. The subject had been missing from his home address for 24 hours. Our Teams searched areas of woodland and dense undergrowth for several hours, assisted by members of Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service and a helicopter from the National Police Air Service. As final deployments of the night were beginning we were informed that the subject had been located out of our search areas, near Cadover Bridge, and we were stood down at 21:30.
