Incident 19. The Team was called by the Police at 09:00 and requested to assist with the continuation of an overnight search which had involved East Cornwall SRT. The subject was a male who was believed to be at high risk. In very hot conditions members of DSRT Tavistock alongside members of DSRT Plymouth were deployed to search wooded areas and fields, while Police checked local roads and lanes. Information received suggested the need for a change of search area, so search parties were recalled to enjoy refreshments kindly provided by the Rapid Relief Team, prior to re-tasking to a different area to the north. At 13:00 as they were returning to Control we were informed that the subject had been located alive, and we were stood down, returning to our Tavistock base at 14:30.
