Incident 24. Following a report that two walkers were missing, having been to Lynch Tor and then toward Baggator, the Police tasked our Team to search for them. We were unable to contact the walkers by phone, so assumed they may have descended into the valley and lost mobile reception. A Team vehicle searched local lanes and moorland exit points while a foot search party went into the valley toward Coffin Wood. A Police drone team also conducted an aerial search. Eventually further information gave us a possible location, which members went to and found the walkers camped for an overnight stay and fit and well. The Team was stood down at 19:20.
